Dalian marine components bearings, as the main components, are used for various sizes of machines. Some machinery (such as crushers) have a high amount of dust in the working atmosphere. When some fine dust enters the high-speed bearing seats, it causes the lubricating grease or grease of the bearing seats to deteriorate, resulting in poor lubrication and bearing wear. Due to the increase in friction and heat, the bearing continues to operate, resulting in an increase in bearing temperature.


Due to the fact that the lubrication surface of the intermediate bearing is not absolutely smooth, there are roughness peaks of different heights. Therefore, the lubrication condition of the intermediate bearing can be objectively judged by the minimum film thickness ratio HM. The minimum film thickness ratio HM is defined as the ratio of the thickness of the intermediate bearing to the minimum oil film to the comprehensive roughness of the two lubricating surfaces, which is an infinite dimension. Generally speaking, when the small film thickness ratio HM>3, the lubrication performance of the intermediate bearing is good, and the marine intermediate bearing is in a full film fluid lubrication state, that is, the lubrication film fills the gap between the outer surface of the journal and the inner surface of the bearing pad, and the two lubrication surfaces are completely separated from the oil film without contact.


What is the general basis for predicting the temperature of bearings for Dalian marine components


The bearing temperature can generally be inferred based on the external temperature of the bearing seat. But measuring the temperature of the bearing outer ring directly with an oil hole is more accurate. The bearing temperature gradually increases from operation, usually stabilizing after 1-2 hours. If the bearings are not installed properly, the temperature will rise sharply and abnormal high temperatures will occur. The reasons include excessive lubricant, small bearing clearance, poor installation, and excessive friction of the sealing device. High speed rotation, incorrect selection of bearing structure, and lubrication method are also reasons.


Marine bearings generally consist of four parts: outer ring, inner ring, rolling element, and cage. Strictly speaking, it consists of six parts: outer ring, inner ring, rolling element, cage, seal, and lubricating oil. There are mainly outer and inner rings, and the rolling element can be determined as a rolling bearing. According to the shape of the rolling element, rolling bearings are divided into ball bearings and roller bearings.
